We opened the "Pablo and Brant Song Lab", got a request for a song about doggie seat-belts, and produced this song -- in less than 15 minutes, total!
Pablo does the lyrics, I do the melody and guitar. Does it sound like something whipped up, start-to-finish, in under 15 minutes?
A: Yes...yes it does. But still.
You guys do a great job in the morning. Driving an hour to work during the summer was a lot less lame listening to you all.

How many sleeping pills did they give that poor dog to get him to pose like that?! I think he's being restrained or something... haha

Great song and I love the photo too! I'm all for dogs wearing seat belts. 2 years ago I was rear-ended in a McDonald's drive-through by a woman whose dog got "happy" and tried to jump out the window. While trying to catch her dog she realized her foot had slipped off the brake and she was rolling forward. She immediately stomped on the brake, only it wasn't the brake. It's amazing what damage can be done in a little "fender bender" like that. Totally ridiculous was the cost of the repairs to our vehicle and I'm still being treated for the whiplash injury. So, although they may be unhappy, it's for the safety of all of us. Please secure your dogs! (And I thought drive-throughs were safe. Why did the dog need to go to McDonald's in the first place?)
