Shaun Groves Sings the Song You Wrote
You wrote it, now he performs it.
Here's Shaun Groves, performing "It's Hard to Be a Christian on 95", a song composed by WAY-FM listeners live on Friday morning's show. Lyrics:
It's hard to be a Christian on 95
If only these people would learn how to drive
I wish my Jesus fish wasn't so hard to hide
It's hard to be a Christian on 95
It's hard to be a Christian on 95
I'm keepin' my eyes open, but prayin' to survive
Lord, save me from this snowbird -- she's a-driftin' left to right
It's hard to be a Christian on 95.

The writing of this song ranks right up there with Brant having 4 callers sing the last part of "Gone" as one of my favorite all time radio moments.
Thank you Brant for being Brant and thank you Shaun Grove for playing (no pun intended) along.

I went to the Shaun Groves Concert at Community of Hope, last Friday, and it was phenomenal! I did not imagine Shaun was so talented, so funny, such a regular guy, and such a trusting soul... otherwise, why would he lend himself to Brant's experiments? As an I-95 commuter, I felt understood, as the rest of the people learn of the ever-so-trying drive. Thank you Shaun, and thank you Brant!
