Studio Visit from Matthew, Peter Pan Actor
Matthew, who's eight, joined us this morning.
He'd invited me to his school's "Peter Pan Play", but I couldn't make it, try as I might. He said it went well, though he slipped and fell during it, and forgot a few lines.
This morning, he nailed the lines. Producer Nikki and I read from the script, so he could reprise his role as the littlest kid in the family, "Michael".
If you heard him, you know: He was awesome. A natural.
I gave him great encouragement, in that inspiring big-uncle kinda way. "You may have slipped and fallen, but you're great. Someday, you can be an actor. I'm serious. You've 'got it'. You're going to be a great actor."
He didn't seem inspired.
"Well...um...I was kind of hoping to be a scientist."
Good enough.

Sorry Matt I missed the program this morning but I saw the play in florida with you,I bet you did a fabulous job as always,wish I can hear you on the radio. We love you my big superstar.

I called in after I heard Matt doing the Peter Pan play. I really
enjoyed Matt, Nikki & Brant doing the parts. It was really good.
